WHAT IS AN EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLER?

Honeywell Evaporative Air Coolers are an environmentally-friendly and cost-friendly cooling option for your home or office. Much like a breeze flowing across a lake or the refreshing cool air you feel near a waterfall, air coolers produce a comfortable, cool breeze with the natural process of water evaporation.

When warm air is drawn into a Honeywell Air Cooler, it passes through a wet Honeycomb Cooling Media. As it passes through it mixes with the water held in the Honeycomb, causing the water to evaporate and lose heat, resulting in cooler, moisturized air. A powerful fan then propels the cool air into the room (or outdoor area, if outdoors). The result is a constant flow of fresh, moisturized, cool air while old and stale air is circulated out of the room.

WHAT IS A PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER?

A portable air conditioner is a freestanding cooling appliance designed to cool the air in a single room or moderately sized space. When air is cooled, moisture is removed from the air and hot air is exhausted. Some portable air conditioners discharge water into buckets that need to be emptied periodically. Honeywell Portable Air Conditioners automatically evaporate moisture and the hot air, which are directed out of the cooled space using a hot air discharge or exhaust hose.

Honeywell Portable Air Conditioners use an energy efficient R410-A refrigerant compressor, condenser and evaporator which are housed in a compact unit. The air is filtered, dehumidified and cooled using air to exchange heat, in much the same way a car or typical house air conditioner operate.

Evaporative Air Coolers are more effective in environments with maximum relative humidity of 60% or less. Warm, dry air is important for more effective evaporative cooling and the temperature decrease will be greater in drier environments because higher evaporation occurs when the humidity is low. Evaporative Air Coolers produce moisture and can be used to increase humidification in a room.

Evaporative Air Coolers should not be used in enclosed spaces. Doors and windows should be opened to allow free air flow. Excelsior has been a GBI Sales brand for 18 years, introducing its own range of vinyl doors into the market place. Excelair

After many years of experience representing well known brands for the retail market, GBI Sales developed its own brand Excelair.
